Are MLMs bad? Is it better to buy direct?
According to a popular question to Forbes: Is MLM a Bad Word?
This is very attractive to many entrepreneurial-minded people who do not want to have a boss watching over them but also want some pre-established structure and support. Most MLM organizations provide a very robust infrastructure and great training as well as impeccable rewards (hello free cars and trips!).
This was the first trip we earned (image)! That night they provided clothing for dinner at a castle. I was 100% against MLMs. My experiences (not all) with them felt transactional and insincere—people I knew would be friendly initially but turned distant if I wasn’t interested in their products. However, my perspective completely shifted when I discovered my MLM.
From skeptic to advocate: I’ve learned that when you truly enjoy something, you can’t help but share it, just like you would a great movie or restaurant. And often, when you share, people respond with curiosity, saying, “I want to try that, too!” Over the past 16 years (24th of Nov), I’ve shared with thousands of people, and my MLM has blessed me in return by covering the cost of my oils and product since my third month when I decided to tell others my story. I’ve never paid out of pocket again.
This journey has been about so much more than oils. It’s about community, education, and making a difference. I’ve been able to share, teach, pray, and help others embark on their wellness journeys—all without charging a penny for my time. And today, there’s an even greater reason to share:

One of the things I love most about an MLM is their generosity. When you share with someone, my MLM pays you 50% of what that person orders when you become a brand partner (which is free). You can use that income to provide for your family, give gifts, or even bless others in need. This is one of the reasons why Forbes calls it “attractive”.
Looking back, I am incredibly grateful—not only for the career an MLM provides, but also for the amazing relationships I’ve built. Some of my closest friends are people I’ve met through this company, and I would never have crossed paths with them otherwise.
Most of you know I’ve faced heartbreaking challenges, including the loss of two of my children to complications. During those two years of caregiving, my residual income helped. I can’t imagine another job that would have provided me with that kind of support for years.
On November 30th,2009 I began my new journey of blessings, growth, and community. To my upline, crossline, team, family, friends, and the company’s founders—thank you! And to anyone curious about starting their
journey, let’s take that first step together.
