Grief, Loss and How Essential Oils Can Help You
When you lose someone that you love, part of you becomes numb. A part of you goes through the motions, and the rest of you is trying to take away the pain. As a person who has been dealing with loss for the past year, I find myself on a roller coaster of emotions and hurt. My son Jared was a bright star shining in my life and his loss was tragic and difficult to handle. As I get through the anniversary of his leaving his family here on earth, I want to pass on some of the things that I have learned. I am hopeful that these tips may help someone else going through the grieving process.
One thing that I want to point out is that the grieving process is very personal. Each person deals with it individually. If someone tells you that it is time to “move on” or “get on with living” remember it is you who is dealing with grief not them. The best time to move on is when you are ready.

Turbulent emotions are the norm. There are several essential oils that can help you deal with the rollercoaster feelings that hit during the grieving process. If you have particular oils that you generally love, those should be on the top of your list to diffuse. Keep them handy. As you or someone you know are going through the grieving process using oils daily will help you mentally, spiritually and physically. The brain reacts to the smell of essential oils and can help you maintain your well-being.
It is especially important to maintain self-care during this time. While taking care of yourself or loved ones may be shrouded in a fog of emotions, little things can make a big difference.

Some essential oils that are used for grief or sadness include:
  • Bergamot
  • Roman Chamomile
  • Jasmine
  • Sweet Marjoram
  • Rose – personally I found rose too sweet in the early stages of grief
  • Ginger
  • Frankincense
  • Melissa
There are several more, however, this is a good start.
Here are some recipes that I’d like to share:

For the bath
3 drops Sandalwood
2 drops Melissa
2 drops Frankincense
Mix in 1 T carrier oil and put in the bath.
For the bath
½ sodium bicarbonate
½ cup Epsom salts
10 drops Bergamot EO
 Apply to skin
Joy for uplifting
Stress Away
Forgiveness
Peace & Calming
To combat guilt – yes this is common
3 drops Lavender
2 drops Chamomile roman
2 drops Jasmine
Diffuse or put in the bath

As I said earlier, each person’s method of dealing with the loss of a loved one is personal and individual. I feel that I can help others dealing with grief and let them know that they are not alone.
Essential oils are a Band-Aid for grief and can help support you as you get to the root of where your feelings come from.  Each day will be different. Some will be very difficult. Remember there is no right or wrong way to grieve. Step-by step, day-by-day, our lives move forward.

“My grief and pain are mine. I have earned them. They are part of me. Only in feeling them do I open myself to the lessons they can teach.” - Anne Wilson Schaff

“All I know from my own experience is that the more loss we feel the more grateful we should be for whatever it was we had to lose. It means we had something worth grieving for. The ones I’m sorry for are the ones that go through life not even knowing what grief is.” - Frank O’Connor

Meet Tina Marie Serra

We HONOR our stewardship to a Champion Product that has defeated all opponents, so as to hold first place in nature's living energy, by fostering a community of learning and discovery while inspiring individuals to wellness, purpose, and abundance.

YOUR Wellness Journey

I am a wellness & business coach that helps others enhance their lives through Young Living products. I evaluate, analyze, train, and support in the path that is right for you at that time. Most individuals start as a member but quickly see the transformation and added benefits of incorporating our products into their daily lives.

I focus on tailoring to individual needs as everyone's needs are different. I started in November 2009, as a distributor and within a few months I couldn't stop talking about them to everyone and the value they were to our family - then before I knew it I had an organization that allowed me to get my products for free and for a family of 9 that was a wise and responsible move - I encourage you to do it, too.

Although 94% of members buy just for themselves, some are interested in becoming a distributor. It is life-changing not only for you, but for your friends, family, and ultimately the world. We can positively impact the well being of every human and pet on this planet.

Join us in aligning our current way of life in the way nature intended it to be.

My Wellness Journey

First off I have to tell you I DID NOT want to do this business. I was crazy busy already with my seven children and helping my husband with his businesses. It wasn't until I was so excited about the life-changing results and hope for our family that I naturally started sharing the products with others.  Motivated to get my products for free I started doing it more intentionally.  I heard someone in Florida was building their business at a farmers market so I checked out our local market and started working Saturdays. Then when an incentive trip was announced I jumped in with both feet! The result was a change in rank and the rest is history. I love that it is something I could do primarily from home and still be in control of my hours and life.

Young Living has taken me Around the World!
After just 4 years I had created a residual income that was worth the hard work.  I have almost 1600 people in my organization and for ten years I've earned EVERY incentive trip since I started (except one to Hawaii I chose not to participate in) and I'd like to show you how.

  Awards
*Star, Senior Star, Executive and Silver in the first year.
*Gold in the 3rd year (35,000 a month sales)
*Platinum 5th year (over 100,000 in sales in 1 month)

Trips did I say?
Yes, my husband and I earned trips to tour the beautiful country of Ireland, Cruised the Mediterranean beginning in Italy, Croatia, Greece, and Turkey, Dominican Republic, Ba;o. and Cruised up the Alaska passage (twice), Three times I spent a week in Kona Hawaii where we were able to experience the Sandalwood Farm, and cruised both the East and West Caribbean Islands, Mona Farm & Distillery with Silver Club Retreat, St Marie's farm & distillery with Gold Club Retreat, and last fall we went to Ecuador Farm for the Platinum Retreat and visited the Young Living Spa and 2000 acre Farm & Distillery and a special treat - the Young Living Academy. We also visited Hong Kong and several trips to Canada and Florida as well as doing classes in other states. I'd also like to say, when Young Living does something it is FIRST CLASS and you feel like a King & Queen.

Could this business be for you?
I've come up with a system, and I'm POSITIVE that if you follow it, you’ll get what you want in life, too.
You'll be tempted to skimp the unpleasant steps and stay where you are… stuck.
It’s important to remember that everything is 100% possible for you to do, thanks to incredible advances in technology and such amazing chemical-free products that we can switch to.

Building a successful Young Living business requires a lot of time, plenty of hard work, goals to work toward, and so much more. Hard work pays off, and if you're going to work hard anyway, you might as well work hard doing something you believe in and LOVE.
You’re SO CLOSE to success, but you have to take control of your business and get the training you need. What is my favorite way to connect? Facebook Message me here: https://www.facebook.com/tinamserra
